After a long period of rain we had our BCERT meeting.

Catherine brought a move she viewed at the quarterly Region 3 & 4 CERT refresher on how to survive wildfires. (TODO get the link in here too )

when we did this in the meeting Catherine and Casey forgot that one has to sequence the X - one line when you go in, but don't do the other until you come out!

We havent' yet discussed just when we would do this - how bad does it have to get around here for us to mark up houses? A good question for next meeting / email.

We talked about scheduling the evacuation planning meeting. Wendy has some proposed dates which Casey is going to ask Brian X about. This would be for a pre-planning meeting. Goal: to ask Brian from OES how we should design a drill.

We agreed that we should do a total dry run simply to come together on radio protocals.

Casey lead a long work session where we reviewed version 1 of the Cal Fire Grant PRoposal Direction Survey ( whew ) There is a mess of work involved in just bootstrapping the effort.

We agreed that some of us would get together to do the CalFire mapping Saturday
