CaseyD met with CaseyS from the RCD at Shingles (316 Madrone.)
a number of interesting and unknown points on the Grant came up.
- the CalFire grants are for a minimum of $750K
- they are intended for regional solutions, and it's not clear that the Butano Canyon _itself_ is a region.
- so for a regional solution the Canyon should focus on
- Evac plans, "Fire Emergency Access and Forest Resiliency projects"
- ladder fuel reduction
- forestry insight on road stability and stump removal
